Opinión de los críticos

The Wine Advocate:

There's a jump in elegance in the red 2023 La Cerqueta, which displays a beautiful bright and pale ruby color and a floral, perfumed and nuanced nose. It is super open, expressive and aromatic, with notes of wild flowers and a touch of blood orange. Yields were a lot lower this year in this vineyard, picked at the right moment. They also did a lighter maceration this year, and the palate is finer-boned and very pretty, with very elegant tannins, superb balance and a long, tasty, clean and precise finish. This is a clear step up in this single-vineyard wine. This is the best vintage so far—it's a beauty. 1,510 bottles and 33 magnums were filled in July 2023.

Decanter:

From a plot planted, 75 metres ago, at 630 metres on slate and limestone soils with Garnacha (interspersed with other varieties). Beautiful definition and brightness. Chiseled, fresh tannins frame the sour cherry, red plum, blood orange, pomegranate and raspberry fruit. Flows beautifully through the palate, with a juiciness core lined with savoury herbs.

James Suckling:

This has a very pleasant nose of blood, dried red berries, red cherries and touches of iodine, stones and flowers. The palate is succulent, with tight, focused, ethereal fruit. This comes from a single old 1.30-hectare vineyard. Drink now or hold.
