The Wine Advocate :

The regular 2023 Branco was produced with a blend of 60% Alvarinho and 40% Sauvignon Blanc from their coastal vineyards on sandy soils. The full clusters were cooled down and transported to the winery where they were pressed and the juice let to settle; it then fermented with indigenous yeasts in Austrian oak foudres, where the wine matured with the full lees for 10 months followed by another six months in stainless steel with the fine lees. It comes in at 11.2% alcohol, with a pH of 3.27, 7.1 grams of acidity and a bone-dry and chalky finish. I find that the aromas feel too pungent, with notes of cloves and a medicinal touch, not easy. It's serious and sharp, quite austere. 3,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2024. (Luis Gutiérrez)
