Trans Douro Express Baixo Corgo es un tinto del Douro que refleja la frescura y mineralidad de la subregión Baixo Corgo. Elaborado de manera natural en depósitos de cemento, muestra aromas de fruta negra madura y especias, con taninos suaves y una acidez equilibrada. Es un vino accesible y elegante, ideal para acompañar carnes asadas, guisos o platos tradicionales portugueses.

The Trans-Douro-Express range is meant to showcase the character of the three subzones and consists of three unoaked reds—one from each zone—with medium extraction and ripeness. The 2022 Trans-Douro-Express Baixo Corgo was produced with a field blend of grapes from different vineyards aged 30 to 40 years old on schist soils, and it fermented destemmed in concrete for four days and was kept in concrete for eight months. This is the palest and lightest of the three, with intense notes of berries and a touch of beeswax and honey and a velvety and juicy palate with good freshness, very fine tannins and some austerity. 8,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2023.
