Descripción
Este monovarietal de Tempranillo está elaborado con uvas que crecen en viñas viejas de Tubilla del Duero y en un viñedo ecológico de Gumiel de Mercado, ubicados a casi 1.000 metros de altitud. Sus 14 meses en roble francés hacen que el vino tenga una textura casi aterciopelada.

The second release of Marta Castrillo and César Maté's Raspón is every bit as good as the
2016, sourced from a biodynamic vineyard at 930 metres in Gumiel de Mercado. If your
impression of Ribera reds is that they're big, oaky and inky, this will come as a surprise,
being closer to red Burgundy in style. Picked late so that the stems are lignified, it's a fine,
focused, graceful red with some cloves spice, sappy red cherry and raspberry fruit and the
faintest hint of oak. Delicious.
Dark plums, tarry blackberries, minerals, walnuts and a hint of black pepper. Juicy and fresh, medium-bodied palate, showing good volume in the center-palate with fine and slightly gritty tannins. Grippy and long. Will age. Tempranillo. Drink or hold.
