Descripción

Las dos variedades empleadas para elaborar este tinto proceden de viñedos de cultivo orgánico y biodinámico plantados hace más de 80 años. Se trata de un tinto muy exclusivo, del que tan se producen muy pocas botellas en cada añada. Es un vino mediterráneo potente que se elabora principalmente a partir de la variedad Monastrell y destaca por su profundidad, finura y gran mineralidad.

Nariz
Notas de fruta roja madura y flores mediterráneas.
Boca
Elegante, profundo y con un presente tanino calcáreo.

Se recomienda servir a 16 ºC.
Consumo
Óptimo hasta 2031 aproximadamente si se conserva en buenas condiciones.

Descripción
Viñedos ubicados en la zona de Fuente-Álamo (Albacete) a una altitud de entre 920 y 940 metros.
Edad
Parcelas plantadas entre 1942 y 1967.
Suelo
Suelo calizo de roca degradada y arenas de conchas marinas en profundidad. Aparición de rocas de sílex.
Cosecha
Vendimia manual.
Vinificación
Fermentación espontánea en tinos de madera de 1.000 litros de capacidad.
Envejecimiento
En barricas usadas de roble francés.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2022 Los Yesares, always the tightest of the reds, took a long time in the glass to open up, but it shows a lot of finesse and nuance. None of the 2022s show any heat. The soils are rich in white marl, with some sand and silex, and the mother rock is quite fractured; so, the roots go deeper into the soil. The wine has depth and is more serious but perhaps not as approachable as La Servil, but I believe it has very good aging potential. It has darker fruit (mixing red and black berries) and more spice, with subtle aromatic herbs. It has power and clout, with contained energy and great balance, and it has fine-grained, chalky tannins, reminiscent of the tannins in some Italian wines. It has a lot of intensity and a long, clean and tasty finish. They produced 5,000 bottles. It was bottled in August 2024 after 20 months in foudre and large barrels.
