Vadio Rexarte 2017

The 2017 Rexarte was produced with Baga grapes from a single vineyard, a north-facing slope that from the beginning surprised them with its elegance and finesse and also the consistency year after year. It's only 0.3 hectares and the grapes ripen slowly. In the exceptional 2017 vintage, the grapes achieved perfect ripeness while keeping the freshness and acidity. It has texture with contained ripeness, a pH of 3.59 and 6.09 grams of acidity. It has developed aromas, polished tannins and an elegant texture with a certain lightness and defined acidity and is precise and clean, tasty and long. This is a wine that cannot be produced every year. This matured in neutral 500-liter barrels for one year, and the bottles are kept for six years before they are sold. It's super clean, expressive and aromatic, really pleasant to smell and drink. 1,107 bottles and 50 magnums produced. It was bottled in December 2018.

Aromas of blueberries and blackcurrants with savory herbs, oyster shell and crushed stones on offer. Medium-bodied with vivid acidity and polished chalk-like tannins. Crunchy and vivid with hints of violets in the finish. Drink or hold.
