The NV Oloroso (like the Palo Cortado) was sourced from Williams & Humbert, selected from 24 barrels that had belonged to the old Pemartín & Cia winery. It's an old an elegant example of the style, with classical notes of nuts, blonde tobacco, spices and noble woods. The palate is round, lush, soft and elegant, with a spicy and spirity finish. It has the typicity of Oloroso, a common thing throughout the whole range, which was well chosen. The price is for a half-liter bottle. This was bottled in 2011. 1,000 bottles were produced.- Luis Gutiérrez.
A super rich, powerful and smoothly delivered Oloroso with grilled almonds and spiced panforte, some flinty salty minerals on the finish, it twists dry with a supple, gently creamy texture. Superb. Drink now.
Temendous sherry, beutiful bottle. Worth repeating. Expensive but worth it every now and then.
