A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, the Belguardo Mazzei 2020 Maremma Toscana Rosso Riserva Tenuta Belguardo is a solid and contemporary wine that shows precise and clean winemaking and quality fruit. Falstaff:

Dark shimmering ruby at the core, fine rim. Elegant and multi-layered nose of dark chocolate, ripe blackberries, coffee and a touch of sealing wax. Spans the palate with a velvety texture of firm tannins and concentrated fruit, round into the long finish.

James Suckling:

Spot-on balance between freshness and ripeness here with cassis, tobacco, pencil shavings, dark cherries and some black olives to the nose. This is juicy and medium- to full-bodied with fresh tannins and a long, fruit-oriented finish adorned by some fine spices. Drink now. (Zekun Shuai)

Decanter:

Sweet vanilla oak and rich blueberry fruit with notes of aromatic herbs, juicy and powerful with woody notes and long length.
