Bidai Berri (Nuevo Viaje en euskera) nace de la curiosidad y el respeto por el terruño navarro. Elaborado por Viña Zorzal en colaboración Bodega Eslava, este vino es un viaje de regreso a la pureza. Una Garnacha desnuda, sin artificios, que busca la frescura y la fruta crujiente por encima de la extracción. Un tinto vibrante, directo y lleno de vida, claro ejemplo de por qué esta bodega ha puesto a Navarra en el mapa de los amantes de los vinos con alma y honestidad.

The 2023 Bidai Berri is a new collaboration with Bodega Eslava, the cooperative in the village of Eslava next to Lerga in the zone of the Baja Montaña, where they started working a while ago. They selected a couple of vineyards in the village and fermented them in Zorzal, one part with full clusters, one part destemmed and the other partly destemmed. The wine matured in three 500-liter barrels for 10 months. They looked for a red with fresh character, with limited extraction. It has moderate ripeness and 13.07% alcohol, a pH of 3.41 and five grams of acidity, with some dusty tannins and a little rusticity. It's very young and primary, perhaps a bit dizzy from the very recent bottling. 2,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2024.
Viña Zorzal nace en 1989, fruto del esfuerzo y de la pasión por el mundo del vino transmitida por Antonio Sanz a sus tres hijos, actuales responsables de la bodega.
