Opinión de los críticos
The 2020 Saigoba Jorge Gil comes from a 1.2-hectare vineyard with a southeast orientation that was planted 45 years ago with Tempranillo, Viura, Moscatel and Garnacha at 456 meters altitude. It fermented in stainless steel and 500-liter barrels and matured in barrels of different volumes for one year. It has some notes of beeswax and honey, red and black fruit, with a medium to full-bodied palate and abundant, slightly dusty tannins, with some earthy rusticity. 1,487 bottles were filled in June 2022. (Luis Gutiérrez)
Saigoba is grower Jorge Gil's contribution to the fledgling Cosecheros de Labastida project. One of the most charming wines in the line-up, it's a Tempranillo-based blend with lesser amounts of Garnacha, Moscatel and Viura, with some subtle reduction, a waft of rose petal, fine-grained tannins and a core of pomegranate and wild strawberry. 2025-30.
