The Wine Advocate:

The serious red 2020 La Pedrissa comes from a single Cariñena vineyard planted over 60 years ago on white soils that delivered an austere varietal with ripeness and volume, 15% alcohol but an XL balance with a low pH. It's full-bodied and powerful, with abundant, fine tannins. It matured in 600-liter foudres for eight months before it was bottled, and the bottles were kept for at least one more year. 2,000 bottles were filled in April 2022.

James Suckling:

Black walnuts, chocolate nibs, roasted black sesame, ripe blackberries and dark mushrooms on the nose. This is quite flavorful and juicy with medium to full body and seamlessly polished tannins. Long and sleek finish. 100% carignan. Give it one more year to let the oak integrate more. Drink from 2025.
