Opinión de los críticos

The Wine Advocate:

The 2024 Anza San Vicente de la Sonsierra La Canoca is his take on this famous place in the village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra. The grapes come from a plot just below the hamlet of Peciña, a 50-year-old vineyard cultivated by Eduardo Eguren. He did a soft vinification because he believes this is a rustic place, and this year he used up to 10% white grapes. It has the Tempranillo aromatics, not terribly complex, but it's clean and precise, aided by the freshness of the Viura. It matured in two used 500-liter barrels for one year. It has contained ripeness and a moderate 13% alcohol, with a medium-bodied palate and fine tannins. It feels young and undeveloped. Maybe it will develop more complexity with time? 1,422 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2025.

James Suckling:

Iodine, blueberries, black cherries and wet stones. Full-bodied with an abundance of fine-veined tannins. Very juicy and vibrant, with a lengthy finish. The dusty tannins grow and grip at the end. Needs at least two more years.
