Descripción
Procede de las uvas de un único viñedo, llamado Finca la Navilla, con un especial microclima para la obtención de vinos frescos y equilibrados. Este tinto posee una excelente estructura, destacando su concentración y su noble tanino adquirido después de una crianza de 20 meses en barricas de roble francés. Envolvente y de grandísma calidad.

The youngest of the two vintages I tasted of the single-vineyard La Navilla, the 2019 Viña Pedrosa La Navilla Reserva was produced with the grapes from the vines that surround the winery in the village of Pedrosa de Duero. This has a slightly more modern and more generously oaked profile with spicy and smoky aromas after 20 months in French oak barrels. Despite having similar parameters, this comes from a warm and dry year and shows a little riper and headier and has a slightly more rustic personality and abundant tannins. 28,865 bottles produced. Finca La Navilla is planted with the CL179 clone, which produces extremely concentrated bunches of Tinto Fino. Aged in new French oak, the result is a structured, intense red with fine tannins, some underlying grip, subtle wood, plenty of acidity and a core of plum, bramble and red berry fruit.
