Delicate floral notes and ripe peaches on the nose. The medium- to full-bodied palate is saline, with impressive length and composure. Expressive and vertical, this displays both volume and precision with remarkable personality, encapsulating the full complexity and potential of great white wines. Already captivating but with the depth and structure to evolve beautifully with time. Drink now or hold.
The most special plot within the estate planted with older vines produced the 2022 San Clemente, which showed very well, austere and serious. It seems to have been less affected by the warm condition of the 2022 vintage. It has a bright, almost fluorescent yellow color and a subtle and elegant nose. It's vibrant and lively, which makes sense when you see the parameters: 13.15% alcohol, a pH of 3.19 and 7.96 grams of acidity. It might not be as intense and incisive as the 2021, but it seems to transcend the vintage. This fermented and matured in a 1,500-liter oak foudre for 18 months, which seems to suit it fine, and then was left to settle in stainless steel for another six months. 2,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2024.
