Opinión de los críticos
The 2021 Fuente Grulla is a single-vineyard Rufete from the village of Molinillo and comes from a very old plot cultivated by Tomás Hernandez, who owns the vineyard. It has a wilder character with some notes of blood and fresh meat, some spice and smoke (apparently a characteristic from the "corneana" soils, a transition between granite and slate, dark soils) with some roundness despite being aged in used 500-liter oak barrels. It feels a bit jammy, but the alcohol is only 12.5%, and it's a little gentler and makes it approachable for the less advanced consumers, although I still find the rusticity of the variety. It has nice balance. 1,800 bottles were filled in October 2022.
