The 2024 Albariño is from different vineyards, mixing granite, alluvial and slate soils. It fermented in stainless steel, where the wine was kept with the lees for five months. They want to express the sharp profile of Albariño, not exotic or exuberant. It has 12.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.2 and 7.2 grams of acidity. It has a floral note and a vibrant palate with very good freshness and acidity with a saline twist. It's a clear step up. 161,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2025. (Luis Gutiérrez)
Now under new management, as they sometimes say in the restaurant trade, this is a stylish blend of Albariños from the O Rosal and Condado do Tea sub-regions. Showing the quality of the 2024 vintage, it has the texture and weight of its slightly warmer sites, with pear, kiwi fruit and lemon zest flavours and a waxy undertone from lees ageing. 2025-28.
Aromas of brine, fennel, steel, lemons and white peaches. Incisive and medium- to full-bodied, with salinity and volume. It’s sharp yet rounded. Fermented and aged in tanks. Drink now. (Jacobo García-Andrade Llamas)
