The Wine Advocate (Aug. 2013):
"The 2009 Cepas Viejas leans more toward the black fruit, as it is a riper year, with some roasted coffee notes from the toast of the barrels and the palate is also more astringent. One has to speculate whether in 2009 they may have used a higher percentage of new barrels. It has a very dry finish. Drink 2014-2017".

Siempre magnífico
bebo este vino desde hace 10 años o mas; nunca falta; muy autentico Mencía; con Ultreia y Pétalos del Bierzo mi tercera estrella del Bierzo
Un vinazo y más a este precio. Meloso, entero. Parece que tiene más barrica q 10 meses. Repito una y otra vez.
