UNO 2018

The 2018 Uno has bright aromas, red and black fruit and herbs, and is fresher than previous vintages. It's an elegant Monastrell from ungrafted 55-year-old vines matured in a 5,000-liter oak vat for one year. It has contained ripeness and 13.5% alcohol and is medium-bodied and very balanced. It manages to keep the varietal and Mediterranean character, the earthy rusticity but coming through as nicely balanced, fresh and elegant, within the rustic essence of the grape and place. 6,600 bottles were filled in January 2020.
