Descripción
Supersónico es una Garnacha de producción limitada, elaborada de forma discreta en un humilde garaje por el Master of Wine Fernando Mora y Mario López. Es también el preferido del winemaker, pura garnacha fresca, viva y ligera. Una botella que desprende intensos aromas de cerezas salvajes, violetas, y apuntes minerales, ahumados y balsámicos. Una pequeña maravilla que será la perdición de los más garnachistas.

The 2016 Supersónico, produced with Garnacha grown at high altitude, close to Calatayud, fermented in open vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in 456-liter oak barrels for six months. This is always produced with the grapes from the same vineyard, an unusual place, and the wine always has less color, more spices and herbs, with subtleness, complexity and elegance. The palate is medium-bodied, the tannins are very fine and the wine is lively and shows great freshness. This is a real bargain. If you want to buy only one wine from Frontonio, I'd recommend this one. 6,300 bottles were filled in February 2018.
Undoubtedly a very fine wine that makes an impression… very refined and polished with a sort of ‘slatey’ end. Super fresh. A fine modern Garnacha.
