Los amantes de la Riesling tienen en este blanco elaborado en la región de Rheinghau una excelente oportunidad para disfrutar de la variedad blanca reina de Centroeuropa. Nos encontraremos ante una referencia expresiva, compleja y delicada que ofrece las típicas notas de fruta fresca, además de un personal carácter mineral. El rango Kabinett quiere decir que procede de uvas maduras seleccionadas.

Vista
Color amarillo brillante con reflejos plateados.
Nariz
Con notas agradables a fruta fresca, manzana verde, limón maduro, albaricoque y melocotón. Recuerdos de hierbabuena.
Boca
Muy complejo, con delicadas especias y expresión mineral.
Temperatura de servicio
Entre 7 y 10 ºC. La bodega recomienda enfriárlo lentamente en una cubitera o en la parte inferior de la nevera. Utilizar una copa alta de cristal fino y transparente, tipo tulipán de boca ancha.
Consumo
Hasta 2030 si se conserva en óptimas condiciones.
Maridaje
Combina a la perfección con platos especiados.

Viñedos situados en la ribera del Rin, en concreto de Grosselage (viñedo único de máxima calidad reconocido históricamente).

The 2021 vintage was certainly challenging for dry riesling, but for Kabinett it was excellent. This is a very exciting, barely off-dry riesling with a stunning interplay of racy acidity, fine peach fruit, lemony freshness and a hint of savory at the very long wet-stone finish. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Schloss Johannisberg Rotlack Riesling Kabinett is again a fascinating effort from the upper, shallow and often early-ripening part of the grand cru and the cooler, west-facing, late-ripening part. One-third vinified in large oak that has never seen malolactic fermentation and two-thirds in stainless steel tanks, this is a fascinating Kabinett with a clear, coolish, fresh and piquant bouquet and a mouth-tickling character on the juicy, elegant and fruity-grippy palate. The finish is highly stimulating even at this young age. I also like this edgy, unrefined and spontaneous, frank and frisky character of this Kabinett that was bottled with 11% stated alcohol and 24 grams per liter of residual sugar. This is so stimulatingly salty and grippy that it's hard to share the bottle if there isn't a second one. 11% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in July 2022.
