Complex nose of ripe peach with notes of pink grapefruit, tarragon and thyme. Then comes the stunningly elegant, medium-bodied palate that has a ton of structure. An exciting interplay of ripe fruit and mouthwatering wet-stone minerality at the generous finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
Vinified in large traditional oak vats (3,000 liters) until April of the following year, the 2021 Nackenheim Riesling 1G shows a clear, intense and very elegant nose of ripe Riesling aromas intertwined with delicate and spicy notes of crushed stones and pink grapefruit. Crystalline and fresh on the palate, this is a medium-bodied, elegant and juicy Nackenheimer with a saline and finely grippy finish. Good, clear and cleansing finish. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in October 2022.
