The Wine Advocate:

Gallinas y Focas is a wine produced for the AMADIP foundation in Mallorca, of which I tasted the 2016 Gallinas y Focas. Since 2013, this wine is only Mantonegro (it used to have Syrah, but the Syrah made the wine heavier), mostly from oldish vines in Binissalem and a small percentage from vines planted in 2010 outside the small winery in the outskirts of Palma where they make the wines. The aromatic profile is quite similar to a Garnacha from Gredos—red berries, orange peel and Mediterranean herbs, with more concentration and clout than its younger brother Tanuki Bob. 2016 was a cooler year that resulted in fresher wines, which is the direction they have taken in the last few vintages anyway, so the natural conditions helped the wine to go that way. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and good balance, elegant and very tasty. 18,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2018.
