Opinión de los críticos

The Wine Advocate:

This wine represents the essence of Mencía in the vineyards of Bierzo, more precisely the vineyards of Valtuille de Abajo. The 2017 Pago de Valdoneje comes from an extremely challenging year marked by terrible spring frosts that decimated the crop, followed by an extremely warm and dry summer. This is an unoaked, naked red that is fruit driven and juicy and has some spicy and tasty flavors. It has a soft texture that makes it very drinkable. 70,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2018.

James Suckling:

Some fragrant melon and apple on the nose, as well as a sweet, floral edge. The texture is fresh, supple and nicely balanced. Drink now.
