José-Luis Heras uses fruit from a number of villages around the winery to make his topnotch Crianza. Aged in an ambitious 70% new wood, it's a blend of Tempranillo with 10% each of Graciano and Mazuelo that's intense, plush and serious with dense, dark berry fruit, fresh acidity and ample concentration. 2021-27
James Suckling:
A ripe and rich red with lots of dried fruit, walnuts and some flowers. Full, dense and chewy. A little rough now, but will come around nicely. Try after 2020.
