Perhaps these wines don't get the attention they deserve, but Feudi di San Gregorio has made impressive leaps and bounds with its sparkling wine program over the past decade or so. The NV Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero Rosato Dubl Esse is another terrific protagonist from this estate. This is the inaugural bottling of this new wine. It ages on the lees for 36 months (the plan is to expand this further) and fruit is sourced from the estate's highest-altitude vineyard sites. The goal is to get fruit that is low in sugar and higher in perceived acidity in order to achieve the balance and harmony you taste here. This is a delicate and beautifully fresh rosé sparkler.
