The Wine Advocate:

The Peter Zemmer 2018 Alto Adige Pinot Noir Riserva Vigna Kofl reveals a dark ruby color and a little more fruit weight compared to your average Pinot Noir from the far north of Italy. The wine shows lots of primary fruit that ranges from wild berry and cassis to pressed blue flower and wet earth or baked clay. It's a nice choice for a mushroom pasta. Just 3,000 bottles were released.

James Suckling:

A ripe, rather concentrated pinot noir with quite some bitter chocolate and spicy oak. But, thanks to the bold black-cherry character, it carries this very well on the nose and front palate. At the finish, there’s quite a slug of tannin, but this also is well integrated. Needs some time to reach its best form. Drinkable now, but better from 2023.
