Descripción

Un "killer" de Chapoutier, dicho por el propio Robert Parker Jr. Emsablaje de una mayoritaria Garnacha y Syrah de la localidad de Latour de France. Un tinto lleno y masivo pero a la vez sorprendentemente ligero, elegante y equilibrado con mucha fruta y taninos dulces. Se muestra ya jugoso y sabroso, con mucha tensión y una gran estructura tánica. Como curiosidad, las siglas v.i.t significan Visitare Interiore Terrae.

Color rojo granate my estable, profundo y brillante con reflejos púrpuras.
Nariz
Un vino muy concentrado con un gran potencial debido a su paleta aromática de frambuesa, fresa, pimienta y canela. Un vino que entrará en vigencia con la edad gracias a su potente estructura tánica y discreta mineralidad.
Boca
Gran ataque, taninos apretados pero sedosos. Se nota un predominio de los aromas picantes, mucha riqueza, una buena longitud y un final muy etéreo.
Temperatura de servicio
Se recomienda servir a 16 ºC.
Consumo
Hasta 2030 si se conserva en óptimas condiciones.

De gneiss para la Garnacha y arcillo-calcáreos para la Syrah y esquistos.

Vinificación
La extracción solo se realiza golpeando la tapa durante una maceración larga que dura al menos 4 semanas.
Envejecimiento
La Garnacha se envejece en tanques y la Syrah en demi-muids durante 18 meses.

Violets, spice, candied orange, and both red and blue fruits emerge from the 2019 Côtes Du Roussillon Villages Latour De France Visitare Interiore Terrae (VIT), another rich, full-bodied, yet incredibly elegant vintage for this cuvée. The Syrah component is showing on the nose, but it has plenty of Grenache sexiness on the palate. Unquestionably in the same ballpark as the 2018, this is a gorgeous wine in the making.

An impressive Cotes du Roussillon Villages with spiced cherries, plums, roasted meat, leather, fresh black pepper and warm spices. Full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. It is big and ample with grace and harmony throughout. It has weight with a well-rounded profile and a focused finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

A blend of 60% Grenache (from gneiss soils and aged in concrete eggs) and 40% Syrah (from clay-limestone soils and aged in demi-muids), the 2019 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Latour de France Visitare Interiore Terrae features aromas of cedar, asphalt, black olives and dark-skinned fruit. Full-bodied and concentrated, it's framed by fine, silky tannins and finishes long. 374 cases produced.
