Les Rías Baixas produisent aussi des vins rouges de grande qualité, comme ce Goliardo Rouge 2019, qui est la nouvelle version de l'ancien Bastión de la Luna. C'est un coupage des cépages autochtones Caiño, Loureiro et Espadeiro, avec un peu de Sousón

The Wine Advocate:

The 2020 Goliardo Tinto shows a touch of rusticity. It's a blend of Caíño with some Espadeiro, Loureiro and a little Sousón. It's medium-bodied and has moderate ripeness and alcohol (12%) with lots of acidity, good freshness and fine tannins. 6,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in January 2022, after one year in a combination of barrels and foudre.

Goliardo combines Caíño Tinto, Loureiro Tinto and Espadeiro from the Salnés Valley with a little Sousón from the warmer Condado do Tea sub-region. Juicy, pithy and refreshing, with lots of zip and energy, it's the kind of wine that's really enjoyable chilled, with redcurrant and pomegranate flavours and a green herb undertone. 2023-29
