I'm not sure if the 198 barrels figure is reliable, but this is a selection of some of the best lots at Beronia, produced from a mix of Tempranillo with 5% Graciano and 3% Mazuelo. Appealingly traditional but with plenty of structure, even nine years after the vintage, this has fine, spicy tannins, balsamic top notes, refreshing acidity and classic Christmas cake and wild strawberry flavours. 2021-27
