Excellent freshness and intensity of meaty blue fruit here with currants, blackberries, dark plums, peppercorns and chocolate, with dark earth and some spearmint. Crushed stone minerality on the palate, with fantastic freshness. Full-bodied, tight, caressing and perfectly ripe tannins. Already delicious, but will age beautifully. Cabernet sauvignon. The herbal and peppery 2019 Mas La Plana is a textbook Mediterranean Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of Italian green peppers and blackberries. Despite the 14.5% alcohol, it feels medium-bodied and with a certain lightness. 70,944 bottles and some larger formats were produced. It was bottled in August 2021. (Luis Gutiérrez)
