The 2022 Riesling Kabinett is bright and clear on the spring-like, beautifully aromatic nose that represents the greatest talent of the 2022 vintage (for Kabinett style) as well as the Wasseros terroir in Kiedrich that is predestinated for Kabinett and particularly in a dry vintage like the 2022 due to its permanent water supply capacities. The 2022 is light yet seriously structured by crystalline acidity and savory mineral grip that results in stimulating tension and thrill. From the first 2022 releases, this is the most convincing Weil Riesling so far, and it is also delicious. Mouth-tickling and watery in a positive way, like a mountain stream.
