Cosme Palacio Blanco Reserva 2019

A wine that always overdelivers, this is a varietal Viura that only uses grapes from the Rioja Alavesa. Fermented in 80% new French oak, it's a modern/traditional cross over, with honeysuckle, toast and pink grapefruit flavours, sweet baking spices and good texture. 2023-29. 

Aromas of intense, lemony fruit with touches of vanilla, almonds, sweet spices and pine nuts. The creamy, nutty character from viura grapes grows on the palate, with ripeness and a pretty long, concentrated finish. Drink now or hold. (Zekun Shuai)
