James Suckling:

A rich, round and creamy garnacha blanca with plenty of marzipan and green spices to the white fruit. Full-bodied and almost waxy on the palate, but the fresh, bright acidity cuts it through before a creamy finish full of oak spices. Flavorful and ambitious. Give it a year or two to let the oak integrate more. Better in 2025.

Pensando En Ti is one of a small group of varietal Garnacha Blancas in Rioja, sourced from a micro-parcel planted in the late 1960s in Laguardia. Lightly wooded in 500-litre barrels, with lees stirring to add extra weight, this has appealing hedgerow aromas, good weight and texture, subtle vanilla spice and a racy, stony finish. 2022-26
