James Suckling:

Aromas of salt, seaweed, kelp and dried lemon. Honeysuckle, too. Full body with lots of salt and mineral character, as well as pine needles, smoke and flint. Umami finish. A joint production from Portugal’s Dirk Niepoort and Barbadillo. Blend of different barrels and three years old. Drink now.

The Wine Advocate:

This is a new wine born from a collaboration with Barbadillo from Sanlúcar. The NV Manzanilla Solera Niepoort is from the Trinidad solera and has marked biological notes, intense and tasty. It's a blending exercise (like in Port), mixing younger and older wines, and it has some citrus notes, a sign of youth, freshness and elegance. It's subtle and has great finesse. It should be bottled in autumn 2024. They expect a first release of 800 bottles.
