Decanter:

Oaky, toasty, caramel and butterscotch aromatics. A complex, elegant, fresh, pure, energetic and multi-layered Rioja with a full suite of coffee bean, chocolate, red and black fruit flavours balanced by velvety tannins and refreshing acidity on its long, satisfying palate. Still a baby for 2015, with a rosy future.

James Suckling:

Minty blueberries with orange zest, blue flowers, mushrooms, anise and licorice spices on the nose. A well-aged, medium-bodied Rioja with a juicy fruit core, unleashing walnut and mushroom savoriness and creamy tannins on the palate, before a long finish. Already complete and delicious now, but you can also hold it for additional complexity and layering.
