Description
On a affaire à un mono-cépage issu du raisin rouge roi de la vallée du Rhône, le Syrah. Pendant sa production , on n'ajoute pas de sulfites pour que le résultat final garde toutes les propriétés et qualités naturelles de son terroir, et qu'on puisse le déguster dans toute sa pureté. Le résultat, c'est un vin avec un caractère minéral, plein de fraîcheur et d'équilibre. Le nom Kevin fait référence au nom d'un membre de l'équipe du domaine

This is a pitch-perfect, fresh and balanced Crozes with a mineral core. Really drinkable but a serious wine, this is a weekend-quality Crozes-Hermitage from a domaine that deserves to be better known. Organic producer based in Gervans in the north of the appellation, whose 10.5ha domaine is split 2/3 in the northern granite and loess soils, 1/3 in the far south on alluvial galets roulés. He names his special cuvée after a member of the domaine's team each year - this year, it's Kévin.
A blend of barrel (40%) and tank-matured (60%) components, the 2017 Crozes Hermitage Cuvee Kevin is ready to drink right out of the bottle. Savory hints of smoked meat and black olives join cherries and peppery spice to make for a complex effort easily supported by the medium to full-bodied palate and supple tannins.
Sultry streaks of cassis liqueur and preserved plums are accented by hints of anise and smoke in this plump, sexy Syrah. Richly concentrated and fringed by ripe, yielding tannins, it's a boldly fruity, spicy sip to enjoy now–2024. Anna Lee C. Iijima

Para mi gusto ha sido un vino plano que no recuerda a nada a la uva syrah. Corto de aroma y paladar. Excesivo precio para lo aportado.
La elegancia de las Syrah de esta zona no tiene parangón. Con una paletilla de ternasco ha sido glorioso.
