There is a smoky and flinty sensation in the 2018 A Teixa, a white that is slightly different, from a rented vineyard, in a cooler year with a restrained 12.5% alcohol and a serious, mineral, austere and stony palate. It's mostly Treixadura with some 5% Godello and Albariño in a vintage with high acidity and very good aging potential. This has to be the finest A Teixa to date. 5,900 bottles were filled from two 2,300-liter oak foudres, where the wine matured for one year.
