Pago de Valdoneje Viñas Viejas 2015

The 2015 Pago de Valdoneje Viñas Viejas is pure Mencía aged in oak barrels for nine to ten months. It has a perfumed nose and good depth, elegance and complexity, but still needing to finish integrating the oak aromas and flavors with some more time in bottle. It's ripe and juicy without excess and has a nice mouthfeel, with fine tannins and some oak-related flavors in the finish. 6,000 bottles were filled in December 2016.
