Marta Maté's eponymous red is a blend of Tinto Fino and 5% Albillo Mayor that uses raw material from 30 parcels in the parajes of Chaval, Malacuera and Valgordo in Tubilla del Lago. Alluringly scented and refreshing, it's a Burgundy lover's Ribera del Duero, marrying aromas of thyme, fennel and pine needles with a touch of reduction and a palate of liquorice, bramble and wild strawberry.
