I was also very impressed by the 2018 Las Firmas, a village wine from Valtuille, from vineyards mostly in Villegas, El Val, El Rapolao and El Llano, some of the fresher parts of the village, in the central part. Floral, expressive, open and elegant, the regional and village bottlings are truly impressive in 2018, with contained ripeness and great freshness. This year, the wine matured exclusively in 500-liter oak barrels. 2,100 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2019.
