The pale red 2020 Gallinas y Focas was produced with 100% Mantonegro grapes and fermented mostly in 4,000-liter oak foudre and 30% of the volume in 500-liter barrels. It has a sense of ripeness and warmth, perfumed and floral, quite showy. 2020 was warm and dry, and it rained during the harvest (30 liters) but the grapes were picked earlier and avoided the issues. It has a developed nose with notes of decayed roses and dry leaves, Mediterranean à la Rayas, with notions of cherries in liqueur despite the contained 13% alcohol. It has a medium-bodied palate and very chalky tannins. It's serious and ready but better with food. 17,103 bottles and 89 magnums produced.

Vino sin cuerpo. Parece un clarete de los de antaño. Solo fruta roja y ni tan siquiera potente. Una absoluta desilusión.
Me queda una botella , lo volveré a probar Nada que ver con la crítica , dulce y goloso poca capa , no se le nota la crianza
