The Wine Advocate:

I love the perfumed nose of the 2021 Cerro Las Cuevas, from a spectacular ancient vineyard that is being converted to organic farming and is planted with a field blend of 75% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano and the rest Garnacha, Mazuelo and others. It's not a shy wine at 15% alcohol but has very good freshness and acidity, and the alcohol goes unnoticed. It fermented in open vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in French oak barrels for 12 months. 4,966 bottles were filled in May 2023.

James Suckling:

An exciting red from Gomez Cruzado, with lifted black pepper and fresh blackberries. Abundant, chalky tannins unwind nicely on the full-bodied, fine-veined palate. Long and vertical. Tempranillo, graciano. garnacha and mazuelo. Drink now or hold.

Tim Atkin:

Ninety-year-old vineyards on the slopes above the town of Ollauri supply the raw material for this thyme and lavender-scented assemblage of Tempranillo with 20% Graciano, Garnacha and Mazuelo. Ferrous, spicy and gutsy, with lots of grip and acidity and a sheen of spicy, toasty oak. Should age well in bottle. 2025-30
