Opinión de los críticos

James Suckling:

Enticing nose of red fruit and spices that is fresher than many 2022 Chateauneufs. Rich and fleshy, but also very elegant thanks to the fine tannins and lively acidity. I love the savory and dry earth complexity at the finish. A cuvee of grenache, mourvedre, syrah, cinsault and counoise from biodynamically grown grapes. Matured almost entirely in concrete tanks. Bottled unfiltered. Drink or hold.

The Wine Advocate:

Partly destemmed, macerated for 26 days and matured in a combination of foudres, used barrels and concrete tanks, the Usseglio's 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape reveals a vibrant bouquet of perfectly ripe dark wild berries, dark cherries, flowers, garrigue and spices mingled with menthol. Medium-bodied, round and enveloping with a fleshy core of fruit, it's seamless and unctuous with chewy tannins and a long, elegant finish. Composed of 80% Grenache Noir, 10% Cinsault, 6% Mourvèdre, 3% Cinsault and 1% Counoise, this wine promise to develop beautifully over the next five to 10 years.

Jeb Dunnuck:

Leading off the reds with the 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape (mostly Grenache with small amounts of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Counoise), it has a pretty, perfumed, elegant, and medium-bodied style to go with a floral perfume of sweet raspberry and cherry fruits, notes of baking spices and peppery, Provençal garrigue, fine tannins, and a great finish. It's a great example of the quality and style of this estate today. It will drink nicely in its youth yet evolve for 10-15 years if well stored.
