The NV Amontillado is a ten- to 12-year-old Amontillado of Manzanilla origin, a youngish Amontillado with the classical caramel/toffee note of the young wines, intermixed with the subtle aromas of sea breeze. This is a wine very apt for the table, with a very tasty palate, terribly salty with notes of soya sauce and curry, a sharp, classical Sanlúcar Amontillado. Juan Piñero compró su bodega en la mítica calle sanluqueña Trasbolsa para construir viviendas, sin saber que cambiaría de idea. Maruja convirtió su inversión en una fuente de alegrías.
Tremendo. Un amontillado viejo de nivel, profundo y serio. Un gozo.
Racial, salvaje, salino, avellanado y como si de un tocador viejo barnizado en esmalte de mujer te inundara. Largo y persistente en boca.
Delicioso incluso con mejillones en escabeche
