A 60-40 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, the 2015 Coteaux d'Aix en Provence is the sort of wine I'd love to show Australians who think they've got a monopoly on this blend. Vanilla and cedar notes accent cassis and cherry flavors in this medium to full-bodied effort. Juicy and fresh, while also being dry and dusty, it's well balanced and already drinking well, although it should last at least a decade.
