Expansive nose of ripe blackberries and cherries with fine oak, then an impressive balance between the fruit and well crafted, dry tannins on the full palate. Long finish that's fresh but not tart. Drink now or hold.

The estate Reserva is produced from Pago de los Capellanes' oldest plots (many of which are over 80 years' old) and is typically dense, focused and serious, with lots of perfumed French oak, layers of brooding tannins, counterbalancing acidity and bold blackberry and blueberry fruit. Me encanta, aunque probé un 2015 que eso ya es música celestial.
