L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

One of my favourite reds in the Ramón Bilbao range, partly because it's made from organically grown grapes, this comes from two parcels in cool Villalba, planted with Tempranillo and a little Malvasía and Garnacha. Youthful, refreshing and very well balanced, it has coffee bean oak, granular tannins, bright acidity and tangy black fruit. 2023-30

Decanter:

Aged for 20 months in American oak barriques, this Rioja has fine, structured tannins that support a balanced and rounded palate. Black fruit is layered with spice, leather and coffee on the palate; preceded by harmonious aromas of black and red berries with vanilla and sweet coconut oak. With good freshness, this is drinking well now, but will certainly evolve further in bottle. Drinking Window 2021 - 2031
