(Olivier Poels)

James Suckling:

A focused, balanced, vivid and precise white, offering aromas and flavors of green pears, mangoes and fresh lemons. Medium-bodied with bright acidity. Precise and lively with a delicious finish.

Decanter:

Tropical fruit, creamy lemon, citrus with mango, sweet pineapple and cooling white stone fruit too. Great liveliness here, focussed and fresh, succulent and juicy with some enjoyable bitter elements. Delicious. (Georgina Hindle)

Vinous:

The 2024 Latour-Martillac Blanc has a composed and more complex bouquet than some of its peers: hints of apricot, pear and a touch of beeswax emerge with time. The oak is nicely integrated. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity. This is a little more lime-driven than expected, but there is fine tension towards the finish and decent length. Good potential. (Neal Martin)

Bettane & Desseauve:

Nez élégant, fruit précis et floral, avec une jolie minéralité. Bouche dense et vigoureuse, pleine de saveur, avec une grande vivacité en finale. Beaucoup de personnalité.

Falstaff:

Pale yellow, green hints, silver reflections. A somewhat shy bouquet, with subtle aromas of yellow tropical fruit, hints of mango and peach, nuances of grapefruit zest and meadow herbs. Taut and tightly meshed, notes of green apple and a racy structure. A crisp aperitif. (Peter Moser)

Jeb Dunnuck:

The 2024 Château Latour-Martillac Blanc is based on 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Semillon, showing the racy, bright style of the vintage. Clean citrus, lime, crushed stone, and mint all emerge from this medium-bodied white, which stays bright and racy on the palate, with good purity and high yet integrated acidity.
