The Wine Advocate:
"The second wine of Angelus, the 2012 Carillon Angelus, is more of a separate estate than a second wine. Composed of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc, with some malolactic in barrel, this wine is deep and richly fruity with lots of jammy black cherries and black currants intermixed with a hint of toasty oak. Lush and opulent, it is ideal for drinking over the next decade. Consumers should find it appealing as well as seductive".
