Het is niet vaak dat je Moscatel-wijnen uit de bergen van Madrid tegenkomt . Bernabeleva waagt zich aan deze witte wijn die, volgens Luis Gutiérrez, "een aromatisch profiel heeft dat recht uit het boekje komt, met laurier, druivenpulp en een vleugje oranjebloesem". The dry 2017 Cantocuerdas Moscatel Seco has textbook aromas of bay leaf, Moscatel pulp and orange blossom. The palate is medium-bodied, and it has good acidity, even in a warm year like 2017. It's nicely textured and tasty. There will be no Moscatel wines in 2018 because as they didn't get the concentration for the sweetness, and yields were quite low for the variety, so the dry was not produced either. In 2017 they did around 900 bottles. It was bottled in July 2018.
